• The style is similar to the FDP. The process of the course and the facilitator's intentions will be explicit and participants' experiences during it will form a significant part of the learning.
• With reference to the FDP; this course is not based around models at its core (ie: the Client Centred Facilitation model and John Heron's Six Dimensions and Three Modes), however it is assumed that you are familiar with these two models and that they form a part of your facilitation practice.
• Practices; participants run sessions with feedback afterwards. This feedback focuses both on the facilitator's impact and interventions and also on the underlying dynamics and issues that were present during the practice.
• The majority of the practices will be whole group practices.

• Applied theory; sufficient to illuminate the facilitation process. The theory will support the practical learning without dominating it.
• There will be theory input sessions in the programme. Previously raised issues (from the FDP) will be gone into in much more depth.
• Peer to peer learning; using all participants learning and experience to share and develop.
• The pre-course work forms a significant part of the course and the practice sessions are both agreed beforehand and are co-ordinated amongst the participants so that a range of content is covered.
• One to one interviews; the purpose of which is to identify each participant's developing edge. The material for the interview comes from both self assessment and feedback from myself. The interviews take place in the evenings and last about 20 minutes each.
